About Me
I'm n0thanky0u, I'm an independent musician from the internet.
You can find my music all across the web, for example on bandcamp. It's also available for the most part on all major streaming platforms. Unfortunately, I can't easily do without the revenue which those streaming platforms provide, as much as I dislike their practices. Some of my music is also on cybergrunge.net, and I'm sure you can find it on soulseek or whatever. I encourage you to share the files around through whatever means you desire. All my music is licensed under cc-by-sa, except for my 100 gecs cover which I do not own the rights to.
I maintain a small webring called the denpa webring, where you can find some other cool sites from fellow denpas if you like this one.
I also run denpa-chan, a small and comfy forum. I also compile the zine which that forum produces.
I consider myself a somewhat hardcore otaku, and have a youtube channel where I talk about and analyse anime and visual novels. This is my only presence on mainstream "social" media.
While I'm interested in technology, free software, and so on, I'm not much of a programmer myself.
In my day to day life, I partially inhabit a meat shell located in a location.
About This Site
This is mainly my blog, which I created as a possible exit from the corporate internet.
I mostly talk here about the intersection between politics, philosophy, ecology, and technology; but you'll also find random musings or autobiographical content. Basically, whatever interests me.
At this point, there are quite a lot of posts. If you're looking for a place to start, I think give up on life is my best post. It will give you some idea of where I'm coming from.
I am a strong supporter of rss, I use it every day myself, and you'll see a link to this site's rss and atom feeds at the bottom of every page.
I write everything for this site using vim, building it with a static site generator called "barf", which is also linked at the bottom of every page. You can read my blog post about that here
I don't have any comment boxes or anything on this site, but if you'd like to let me know your thoughts on something I've written, you can find a contact email on the home page. It's my "work email" I made a long time ago for music stuff, which is why it's a gmail and not some better provider. I might not respond to your email, but I promise I read them all and I very much appreciate people who take the time to write to me. I'm just autistic and somewhat socially awkward, and I often don't know how to respond, so please don't take offence if I don't reply to your email.
